Job Description
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Supervise the Material management functions of all the production lines Material.
  • Ensures material requirements are identified in collaboration with the Production and Engineering departments.
  • Ensures of the accuracy of the information input into the MEPC Job ERP system.
  • Responsible to maintain the material management system to ensure it is accurate and to generate material management reports as required.
  • Coordinates with the Supply Chain Manager, appropriate departments, and vendors to ensure materials are requisitioned and delivered to the end user to meet the production schedule.
  • Use sourcing strategies to support MEPC objectives.
  • providing the company competitive advantage in the area of materials, supplies, and services
  • Monitor and document suppliers for cost, quality, and delivery performance.
  • Monitor job costing for all production line and insure that costing is within budget.
  • Use appropriate sourcing strategies to control the company’s purchased material costs and to assure an adequate source of supply.
  • Ensure that the goals and objectives of the department are met.
  • Supervise all systems relating to inventory levels.
  • Coordinates production control planning and scheduling.

Required Skills

• Experience with ERP systems in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Knowledge of materials management theories processes and practices.
• Proven ability to multi-task and prioritize projects and primary responsibilities.
