Job Description
  • Instruct and ensure employees are working with appropriate work orders, technical orders, manuals, work plan, and documents to overhaul and repair engine/module.
  • Perform maintenance and inspections on the engine/module.
  • Ensure all the paperwork are completed and updated before submitting to other departments.
  • Coordinate all the work-related activities with other departments.
  • Instructor assigns an instructor to the personnel on the necessary servicing, inspections, and proper troubleshooting techniques to use to diagnose and correct any malfunctions.
  • Instructs and ensure the cell personnel are following the safety procedure.
  • Inspects, monitors, and schedules calibration; to ensure that only special equipment, special tools, and precision measuring equipment are in current calibration and serviceable are utilized for repair of the engine/module and associated components.
  • Ensures tools accountability at start and end of the shift.
  • Instructs personnel on safety, housekeeping, foreign object damage, and corrosion prevention program.
  • Trains newly assigned employees and accomplish all of the necessary evaluations, documents, and forms required for Qualification Training.
  • Performs employee evaluations and submits it to the Supervisor for review.
  • Coordinate with Supervisor for technician’s excuses, vacations and other concern.
  • Briefs the Management on the status of the section in the Operation stand up meeting.Ensure all chemicals and consumables are available and serviceable.

Required Skills

• Diploma, Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 2 years engine/module overhaul experience required as senior technician.
• Must be able to read and interpret documents such as contracts, operating maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and safety rules.
• Must be able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Excellent communication skills and display of mastery in functioning within a team-oriented setting.
• Ability to do the work of the position without more than normal supervision.
• Ability to interpret Instructions and specifications concerning procedures.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work well in a team-based environment.
• Excellent and attention to detail.
• Should possess mathematical, mechanical and technical skills.
